With the coming of the Easter Weekend, we have plenty to look forward. Not only is Monday a bank holiday, but there is a wide array of events and exciting pop ups across London this weekend. The weather is great, and the days are getting longer – London is slowly coming back to life with the spring. These are some of our favourite events you should consider if you are looking for a slightly less traditional Easter celebration.
Hackney Downs Vegan Market
This food market is a great way to discover new and exciting plant-based foods. They are very creative, offering some really adventurous and tasty treats, but that are also somewhat healthy for you.

Japanese Bamboo Garden in Liverpool Street
Launched as part of the green space initiative in London (Urban Eden project), this pop-up Japanese Garden will give you a great insight into Japanese gardens and the various plants and designs that they often use. There will also be yoga classes and massages available to give you a relaxing start to your weekend bread.
The garden will be open all weekend in Broadgate, Moorgate.
Visit the Baby Lambs at Lee Valley Park Farms
Looking for a way to reconnect with nature, or teach the children about the circle of life? Why not visit Lee Valley Park Farms in Waltham Abbey where they have them newborn lambs wobbling around the fields. They also have a wide variety of other animals including guinea pigs, rabbits, and bearded dragons which can be an exciting day trip for the family.
The 40 Hills of Instanbul Party
Dalston’s 40FT Brewery have enlisted the help of the local turkish community to put on a celebration of their culture. There will be traditional turkish dishes, music, and local craft beers available at this party. It’ll be an amazing feat and a great mixture of cultures.
The party takes place on Saturday at the 40ft Brewery.
Slide down the ArcelorMittal Orbit
This crazy slide has plenty of twists and turns and is the world’s longest and tallest tunnel slide, going from start to finish in just 40 seconds. Over the entire Easter weekend this slide will be open, so don’t miss your chance to visit it!
